Sagasystem AS announced an agreement with Privanet PLC in Finland on a share issue of NOK 10 million. The issue will be carried out on Q1 2018 on Privanet’s “Trading of unlisted shares platform”. The share issue will secure Sagasystem AS NOK 10 million in new capital, with a value of the company before the issue of NOK 80 million.
Sagasystem AS has secured a valuable agreement with Privanet PLC in Finland. Just before New Year, an agreement was signed, which can provide a total of 8 new employees in the Norwegian company.
Sagasystem AS has in recent years invested considerable funds in the development of a platform that collects all vehicle data. This can be included with third party systems without difficulty. The platform is hardware independent and scalable. All rights are owned and developed by companies in Norway.
Many years of hard work:
– Sagasystem IoT Platform is the result of many years of hard work and experience in building and selling telematics solutions. Our expertise, patented technology and feedback from many customers are distilled into the platform that provides the foundation for our innovative products, says Maulik Kataria, Technical Manager in Sagasystem.
The platform is responsible for data collection, processing, interpretation and storage of data from the various data sources that are the basis of Tenix. We have now expanded the platform with Automatic Passenger Counting APC which is under pilot test at a prominent bus operator, and that we roll out the Dynamic Passenger System, which is screens, stop advertising, and geo-based content, at another large bus operator, comments Maulik .
– In addition, we create tailor-made services for various operators such as tachograph downloading, remote control and integration of webasto against Hastus, alcolock integration, etc., says Maulik further.
Public transport in a rapid development:
– We see that public transport is rapidly evolving, and buses and railways are becoming rolling computers that are constantly connected to cloud-based control systems. In this context, European standards for IT systems for Public Transport, abbreviated as ITxPT, have recently been developed at European level. As a leading supplier in the market, of course, Sagasystem is a member of ITxPT, and is in the process of certifying our solutions according to the ITxPT standard, says Maulik.
– As a member, we also have influence and are setting the premises for solutions and standards. ITxPT is an important standard on the road to the ultimate goal, which is autonomous devices that transport people on demand.
Ruter is the first client to specify ITxPT compliance in their next major tender. And it is expected that the next big tenders from Skyss and AtB will build on the same standards.
